There are 2 ECSE (special education preschool) classrooms here at Pratt.
Preschoolers are taught in a classroom that blends different strategies to help each child learn and grow.
The classes are visited regularly by a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist, and a physical therapist who work with children according to their needs. At this young age, children are helped to learn preacademic concepts by hands-on exploration of materials, from sensory materials like sand and shaving cream, to materials that focus on colors, numbers and letters.
