Homework is sent home on Monday and due back on Friday.  There will be one spelling sheet and two math sheets.  The spelling word lists and practice activities can be found on our class web page at spellingcity.com/Pratt208. 

I ask students to read a minimum of 15 minutes per night for at least four nights per week.  If you are busy one evening, students can read 20 minutes for three nights or 30 minutes one extra evening.  If your child reads 30 minutes EVERY evening he or she will get the greatest benefit in regard to gains in reading scores.  Your child can read alone, you can read to your child or you and your child can take turns reading the same text.
