Jane Greene has been a teacher in Minneapolis for the past nineteen years.  She is delighted to be a part of the Pratt School Community!  Mrs. Greene grew up in California, attending Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Drama. Her first career was in the theatre, where she acted on stages throughout the United States. She received her teaching license from The College of St. Catherine. 

As to her philosophy of teaching she says, "I believe in building a safe and supportive community, so the students will feel a strong sense of belonging. I believe in keeping the instruction challenging, yet attainable -  and really celebrating success! I want my students to leave in June with even more joy and zest for learning than they had in September."
