Dear Parents:

We welcome all families that have joined Pratt for the 2011-2012 school year.  We look forward to working with you throughout the year as we strive to provide the highest level of programs and services to your children.  We will offer your children a rigorous teaching and learning experience and we will make teaching meaningful for all our students.

The School Handbook provides helpful information about school dates, telephone numbers and policies.  Pay special attention to the section headed Parent/Teacher Contract and the Family Involvement Plan.  Parents and teachers working together will create success for every child.

The staff at Pratt Community School will provide in depth instruction in reading, writing, and math using methods that integrate the arts into the lessons.  By doing this, we hope to see every child enjoy learning and experience success.

The Pratt All School folder will be sent home in backpacks every Tuesday.  Please make sure you spend some time reviewing the documents inside the folder.  Read and return any documents needing your signature to school on Wednesday.

We are fortunate to have an active and engaged community at Pratt Community School.  Community partners, parents, student and staff all work together to ensure the best learning environment possible for our students.  Pratt also has a unique relationship with the residents and community surrounding Pratt School.  Parents, neighbors, and businesses take a strong interest in supporting and working with the school.  Because of our partnerships, each year brings its own exciting new beginning.
