Overview
Pratt Community School is a Pre-K through 5 school, supported by a strong international community due in large part to our close proximity to the University of Minnesota. We welcome and embrace students from all cultural and family backgrounds and are always looking for ways to learn from, honor, and nurture our multicultural educational environment. By being a small community school we are able to offer individualized and active learning experiences where each child is known intimately and appreciated for their unique talents and contributions by both teachers and staff. Our ability to draw a heavy population of volunteers from the U of M enables us to offer small group learning experiences where we meet and challenge each child at their particular level across all disciplines. We exemplify our role as a community school by using our nearby community as a teaching resource to help create rich student learning opportunities.
