Scholastic Book Club - I will be sending home book club order forms about once a month.  If you are interested you can order books at a very reasonable price for your child.  When we purchase books from Scholastic we get points that I use towards getting new books for our classroom collection.

For parents that would like help finding books close to their child's reading level, or you want to check the level of a book, here is a website that can help. 

Scholastic Books Wizard  website has a page that allows you to find books at your child's level, even narrowing it down to books that match your child's interest at that level.  Click the guided reading a-z to help with choosing the level.  Your child should know his/her independent reading level (the level that most of his/her books are at in their book box).
